Short version: no tracking cookies, no profile of you, and analytics only if you say yes. Below is exactly what that means.

What this site collects

Almost nothing, and nothing that identifies you. germaregypt.com is a set of static pages with no advertising pixels and no third-party trackers. If you accept analytics in the cookie notice we load Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights, which count page views and measure loading performance without cookies and without building a profile of you. Decline, and they are never loaded.

Your browser makes ordinary requests for pages, images and fonts. Those are served by our hosting provider, Vercel, which keeps short-lived operational logs (IP address, request time, user agent) for security and reliability. We do not use those logs to identify individuals.

The contact form

The enquiry form sends what you type to our own endpoint, which passes it straight to our inbox by email. It is not written to any database and it is not stored on this site. If that service is unreachable, the form falls back to opening your own email client instead, so your message is never lost.

Once you do email us, we hold that message the way any company holds its correspondence: to reply to you and to keep a record of the conversation. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not sell or share it.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies. It stores one item in your browser local storage, named germar-consent, purely to remember that you dismissed the cookie notice so it does not reappear on every page. It contains no identifier and is never sent anywhere.

If we ever add anything that identifies a visitor, this page will be updated before it goes live.
